Family-owned in Mississauga since 2011. We do collision repair, refinishing, and the electronics work modern cars need after bodywork — cameras, radar, parking sensors — under one roof, so your car isn’t shuttled between three different shops to be finished.
Hi Tech Auto started small — two bays on Wolfedale Road and a handful of tools, taking on the collision and paint work a growing neighbourhood needed. Word travelled the way it does in this trade: one straight repair leading to the next referral.
Cars changed faster than most shops did. A dented bumper used to be a bumper job. Now there’s a radar unit behind it, sometimes a parking sensor, occasionally a camera bracket that has to sit within a few millimetres of spec or the whole driver-assist system throws a fault. Bodywork stopped being purely mechanical.
Rather than keep sending customers elsewhere for the electronics half of the job, we built that capability in-house — scan tools, calibration targets, the training to use them properly. A car that comes in for a repaint now leaves with its cameras and sensors re-taught too, in the same visit, from the same shop.
Most weeks the bays run a mix of insurance jobs, cash repairs, and the odd restoration piece that needs a panel nobody makes anymore. Nothing glamorous — just measuring twice, matching paint properly, and not handing a car back until the systems on it read correctly.

Every job starts the same way: strip the damage back far enough to see what’s actually underneath before we write a number down. That’s where surprise mid-repair costs usually come from, and we’d rather find them on day one than day four.
Once the scope is set, you get it in writing — what’s being done, roughly how long it’ll take, and what it costs. If something changes once the panel’s off, you hear about it before we proceed, not after.

- Paint matched against the vehicle’s factory code on a spectrophotometer, then blended into the surrounding panels.
- Cameras, radar and parking sensors recalibrated to the manufacturer’s procedure after any bodywork that could affect them.
- A written quote before any spanners come out, and a post-repair scan once the work is done.
